How does a BLDC fan work?

Have you given a thought to this question- what is the reason behind the rapid acceptance of BLDC fans over the traditional induction motor ceiling fans? In simpler terms, BLDC fans uses a combination of Permanent magnets and electronics to provide efficient results and premium performance. The main difference between BLDC and ordinary induction fans is the method of commutation. The technique used in changing the direction of current in motor for rotation movement is domineering. BLDC is made up of three main components- Stator Rotor Electronic Algorithm In BLDC, there are no brushes, so the commutation is performed by isolating the algorithm in the electronics. Due to zero contact of motor and commutators, even after an extended period no wear and tear is seen in the commutators. Due to this factor, it eliminates the need of exchanging motors in fact sustaining its use for the long-term. “BLDC Fans are energy efficient ceiling fans encouraging sustai
